MMR Goes West with Addition of Terry Ferg
MMR Research Associates announced that Terry Ferg has joined the Client Relationships staff as a new Vice President, continuing MMR’s planned growth and geographic expansion. With this most recent hire, the company extends its presence to the West Coast, and adds Terry’s extensive experience with the wine industry to its growing list of industries.
Terry comes to MMR from E & J Gallo Winery where he served as Project Manager for Marketing Analytics, developing the Winery’s in-market testing program that included identifying the most successful new products the Winery has launched in 30 years. His specialties include new product development, pricing, multivariate statistical analysis, advertising/promotional research, and relational database analytics.
“Terry brings to MMR a great combination of business understanding, market research and multivariate statistics,” said Bruce Olson, managing partner. “MMR always strives to understand our clients’ business decisions, and Terry’s client-side experience will be a valuable asset as we continue to expand.”
In his new role, Terry’s responsibilities will include developing new research clients, overseeing research design/execution/analyses, assisting in the development of new MMR techniques, products and program services, and contributing directly to the growth and strategic direction of MMR.
“I am excited to join such a talented and experienced team,” said Terry of his new job at MMR. “I’m looking forward to bringing the MMR approach to the West Coast.”
Terry also helps reinforce the company’s heritage as a graduate of the University of Georgia with the Master of Marketing Research, Terry College of Business. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from Bellarmine University. Terry has worked in the research industry since after earning his BS in Business Administration (Marketing) from Xavier University. He is married and father to three boys, and along with his family he enjoys rock climbing, hiking, and outdoor adventure sports.
