MMR Expands Client-Side Expertise: Welcomes New VP-Client Services

MMR Research Associates celebrates continued growth with the addition of Michael Hoban to the team as the newest VP – Client Services. Previously at Newell Brands, Hoban brings more than 20 years of consumer engagement research experience from industries ranging from hospitality and CPG at both client and supplier companies.

In his most recent position, Michael was director, Global Consumer Services where he led operations and insight generation for consumer care. His focus on innovation and brand health tracking resulted in automation of daily reporting processes and standardization of product quality reporting. During his tenure he also led the consumer marketing insights team for Newell’s Global Tools Segment, focusing on consumer and shopper insights. Prior to that, as Senior Director for market research at LexisNexis Risk Solutions, he led the team and research initiatives for the entire organization, managing best research practices and providing thought leadership and knowledge management.

“Mike brings a strong background in big data/analytics, consumer advocacy and brand positioning to MMR,” said Bill Denk, Managing Partner. “We are excited to add his tremendous breadth of experience on both the corporate and research supplier sides of the business to complements our existing team. His experience helps MMR continue to deliver on our promise to “make our clients lives a little easier.”

In his position at MMR, Mike will leverage his breadth of B2B and B2C industry knowledge, helping MMR to continue to reinforce its position as partners and consultants to clients.

A graduate of the University of Florida, Michael previously served on the AMA Marketing Research Executive Advisory Board and as director of professional development for the Marketing Research Association Atlanta/Southeast Regional Chapter.
