Adding More Client-Side Experience
MMR Research Associates announced that Christina Halligan (née Black) has joined the team as a new Director, Client Services. Christina joins the growing team at MMR from Georgia Pacific Corporation where she worked as Consumer Insights Manager providing thought leadership across the business to improve market performance. In her new role she will have responsibility for project planning, questionnaire design, and analysis planning and production.
“Christina is bringing focused experience to MMR and is another example of where we took advantage of an opportunity to hire the best, most motivated people we can find,” stated Bruce Olson, Managing Partner. “Her direct experience on the client side will serve her and MMR extremely well.”
As part of the client services team, Christina will utilize her insights management background to collaborate with clients to determine how to best achieve their strategic and tactical business goals. Working cross-functionally with key stakeholders is a touchstone of Christina’s professional history. She leverages existing knowledge and assesses information gaps to drive strategic growth, and will help MMR extend their clients’ reach.
“Having worked extensively with MMR on the client side, I know they are a phenomenal partner,” said Christina. “I continued to choose to work with them because they consistently provide superior service, they’re flexible to meet special needs, and everything with them was always turnkey and seamless from start to finish (and even beyond). I am so excited to be joining the MMR team!”
A graduate of the University of Georgia with both a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Statistics and the Master of Marketing Research, Terry College of Business, she has worked in consumer research since graduation. Her first role as a healthcare informatics analyst for MedAlign gave her baseline reporting experience and reasoning, methodology, and analytical recommendations knowledge. She then worked for McNeil Consumer Healthcare developing and managing quantitative and qualitative research projects including concept testing, brand equity tracking, and new product ideation. She was responsible for generating more than 2,000 ideas, identifying new benefit areas and new strategic frameworks.
Christina is newly married and a proud parent to two feline fur-babies. She loves to try new things – from activities, to food, to travel. With a flair for creativity, she appreciates the precision of pencil drawing and is learning the expressiveness of brush painting; she has several of her “pieces” on display at home. She also enjoys doing puzzles of all sorts in her spare time, loving the feel of “solving problems.”
